Commercial Interior Design

We meet with you to discuss your budget, needs, and goals for your particular space. During this phase, we work with you to determine the best layout of the space, as well as take measurements. 

We begin to define your space’s style and build a concept that is tailored specifically to your wishes and budget. Along with 3D drawings and plans, we pull finishes for you to approve as well, including: flooring, backsplash, countertop, cabinet style/color, wall color paint, etc.

Here, we define and design all of the architectural elements of the project: cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, appliances (if necessary), hardware, as well as any special detailing planned for your commercial space. We create specification binders for you and any contractors involved, and start requesting bids. Once bids are accepted, execution of details and design begin! Your drawings are further developed with detailed plans, elevations, plumbing, and lighting specifications with the help of your chosen contractors. All documentation is provided in a binder to use as a job site reference to ensure everything is up to standard.

Throughout construction, the 509 team will visit the site occasionally to ensure smooth communication and execution between you, the builder, the job site supervisor, and trade contractors. We’ll also address any questions or challenges that arise during construction. These site visits save our clients time, money, and energy by ensuring everything is going as planned, and that your vision is being honored. 

We love this part! Once the work is completed, we schedule a client reveal, along with professional photography. We do a walkthrough, resolve any inconsistencies, present final invoices, and hand off instructions on caring for your new space.
