Painted Child’s Desk – Desk Revamp

April 10, 2014 by Wnolan

A bit ago I shared my incredibly long to do list.  This was one of those things on that list.  So, I am glad to be able to share this painted child’s desk with you!

Painted Child’s desk is done!

Here is what it looked like before.  The kiddos have so much fun with it.

The cutest little desk, just their size-it just needed a little revamp.

I wanted to paint this desk to match Baby Girl’s furniture that I painted in CeCe Caldwell’s chalk paint.  I didn’t have anymore, so had to wing it.  I think it turned out to be a pretty good match!

These pulls hint at what is inside…a matching color!

I love the little drawer pulls that I found.  They pull the color of the re-stained top and the drawer interiors and they have a great chipped, antique look.

The room is coming together!

We got Baby Girl’s drapes hung last weekend.  The rest of the artwork will be this weekend…who knows, maybe we will get up the baseboard and casing too!  That would be great!  So, there you go – a little peek at Baby Girl’s room and of the painted child’s desk.

Have you revamped anything lately?  What’s on your to do list?  Please share!
