Happy Monday! Today, we’re going to talk about decorating with everyday things. You can make a creative vignette using the things you already have at home.
I’m sure you have noticed in magazine spreads when they use fruits and veggies in their shots. It adds some life and color into your space.
Here I wanted a different take on using fruit. The sparkle of the glass and chrome really sets off the lemons with their bright yellow. It makes for a cheerful spring vignette.
Here, I have created some interest by collecting the things we use often and putting them in containers. Notice how I have gathered like items together on a little tray? Repetition of shape and color helps this vignette feel cohesive and pulled together.
