This is one of my favorite times of year, with all of the extra touches that go into an interior. The soft, white Christmas lights warm up the room, so it feels cozy. I had been practicing with my camera and wanted to share some of my favorites of our tree this year, before Christmas day was over. A long time ago, I got started on the hand blown glass ornaments. I started out with only Santas, but you can see in the next couple of photos that I have branched out. I love the impact of this large scale ornament. It adds great interest and sparkle to the tree. Here is one Santa for you. You can see in this photo that I used a thick spiral glitter tape on the tree. I love how it gave it extra dimension and interest to the tree. Here is the tree after Santa visited. I hope your year has been full of family, friends, fun and great décor! New Years is just around the corner.

I like white lights on the tree, too, looks more peaceful to me. Very pretty.

I agree. Middle son wanted colored lights. I told him when he had his own tree, he could have colored lights. To make him happy next year, I might have to incorporate some color in the exterior lights! Happy New Year!
