I have been on the search for a rug for my laundry room. I have not had any luck with my usual places, so as I drove by JCP Home, I decided it was worth a try. I was in for a surprise when I walked in the front door, Jonathan Adler at JCP???? And it was good, really good! The bright colors and fun accessories drew me in. I know that I will be back for more!
Here’s what met me at the door. Jonathan Adler’s Happy Chic Collection. While it’s a bit higher priced than what you would expect at JCP, it’s very reasonable for Jonathan Adler.
What I love about it most is that JCP is stepping into what is on trend in the home right now and giving JA fans something more affordable. Great style and reasonable price = Win! His description is fitting for this line:
Tradition with a twist.
Another quote, that probably describes his line far better than I have:
Mix classic styles with current trends to make every day a happy day, whether you’re taking it easy or entertaining guests.
Don’t you love that sofa? This style might help me leave my love for leather! See how the navy chair has become a neutral?
I love his take on Green Design:
People talk about green design. I think the greenest thing I can do is to make stuff that people will want to pass down for generations.
When you think about it, holding onto something for years really is the best in terms of green and taking care of our environment. The less that hits the landfill the better.
What do you think about Jonathan Adler at JCP? Is this a line you could incorporate into your home’s interiors?

so true in terms of green. wondering if any of this things can be recycled.

I’m sure most could be recycled. But, I think the intent is that it would be passed down to others, avoiding the need of recycling. 🙂

I have to agree with you Sophie. While I love all colors, I am always drawn to green. I think maybe because it represents the color of life?!
